RE: Windows 10 and Linux #31
I found that after a while of using only Linux, I simply removed Windows as most, if not all things that are on Windows can be ran in Wine, or there is an open source alternative on Linux.

However I don't play many games that require Windows over Linux and the ones that I did play that require Windows I got bored of quickly and stopped playing. In all honesty I find the biggest hinderance of moving from Windows to Linux was getting the hang of the UI however after installing I3, BSPWM, then sticking with I3 and Polybar/i3Blocks and Dmenu, it hit me that it's my computer and my menus, not some shit that Micro$oft shat out and dealt on a wooden platter.

My recommendations, learn python, it helps a ton when customizing your own menus, from there, if you still really want Windows 10 you can simply use PCI Passthrough (running two os's on one PC) that way you can just swap between windows and linux instantly.

I would recommend removing Windows from your computer, and replacing it with a Linux distribution or BSD; preferably, TrueOS (PC-BSD) or FreeBSD. Linux and BSD can fulfill practically every need for your system.

While Windows was proven to be far better than Linux or BSD for gaming, and due to the fact that more games support only Windows, Windows is above all when it comes to gaming. However, gaming is useless. Video games are stupid entertainment that all of my friends are addicted to. They are so addicted to video games, that I can never have fun or properly hang out with them anymore. Do not play video games. I am not a hypocrite here; my computer has no games and nor do I want any. Linux and BSD can fulfill real computer "needs," that bring productivity. Video games are not productive at all. You may say that those YouTube fellas are rich from playing games and having people watch their ads and buy their merchandise and what not, but every YouTube gamer is a loser. I would rather be poor and a winner than rich and a loser. Without video games, and if everyone just had a bare minimum cell phone like a flip phone for basic calling and texting needs, I could finally love going to the bar again (I used to go to the bar, but stopped as it was boring with everyone on their fucking cell phones at every second). We could finally have fun again; real fun. Not digital pointless fun. Our lives can be meaningful again. Stop the video games, and stop the smart phones. Smart phones are scams, and so are video games. However, it will never stop. Life, as we know it, will always be a digital hell.

We're accountable and responsible for our very own experience. The digital era we live In Is there for the taking, but It does not dictate our choice and decisions.

Be selective with what you do/do not want as part of your digital world.

To be completely honest, I'd rather be a rich YouTube loser any day, every time, 100%. Besides, I could quit YouTube any day and easily change my habits to become less of a loser relative to those winners out there who have to struggle and work their lives away to make a decent living. Being a winner won't help me, the world is run on money and if you've got money, you've already won life. So does it really matter if you're a winner in the greater scheme of things?

Money is not everything. Money is paper and metal (or digital bits). Many greedy people see the world of only money. I differ, however. My dream in life was to become a politician, or potentially prime minister, and change Canada to be less of a weak country; and give more freedom to people. If I could choose one hundred billion dollars or the opportunity to pursue my dream in politics, I would choose politics. The total amount of debt in this world is impossible to pay off; not even every single natural resource on this earth could pay it all off. Money is just a smart way to gather goods and services, and to work to contribute to an economy. There are so many currencies that humans have created, that the true value of all these currencies could never really be set.

To you, you want all the money in the world to go and pursue your desires the easy way. However, I would hate being rich. I want to be challenged in life, and live simply. I am not a materialist myself. I am not the kind of person who would enjoy big vacations. My dream in life was to successfully change Canada, and I stick to that. Everybody I met wants to be rich. I, and maybe only a few, stand out. Being poor and homeless would be far more of an incredible journey to me compared to being rich and full of materials. That's just the way I am.

Being a winner in that manner is valued to me, but not to you. It is easy to give skill and knowledge, and materials, but it is impossible to change one's true attitude.
