Okay, before people immediately answer "No." (which I expect there to be a lot of) I just want to say that by "Accepting Pedophiles" I don't mean accepting people having adult relationships with children, I just mean people accepting that having an attraction to children does not make a person immediately evil or a rapist.

So do you think people will ever get it through their heads that not all pedophiles are rapists?

I have read a few studies about this subject, and a few people have stated that it is a mental condition/disorder.
If that's the case I feel like people would accept it a little more, although I personally don't give a shit as long as they aren't kidnapping, raping, etc.

And even as recent as 10 years ago the majority of places recognized homosexuality as a disorder.

No. I do not think so.
Society doesn't accept paedophiles, as it's considered morally wrong.
If it is to be accepted, it will not be any time soon, even if it is just being attracted to children.

I don't think this could ever be accepted, as porn in general isn't socially acceptable yet.

Prison doesn't accept pedophiles, I honestly doubt Society will ever come to accept them.
