I think they deserved it personally, physical scars cause less damage than mental ones, although he shouldn't have reacted so extremely (the water should have been the limit) British women (not all of them) can be grade A bitches at times and they love to push a man to the edge because they know how quick people will defend them because of it.

As a British sounding kid living in Australia that wears glasses in class, I'm called "Harry Potter" by both my best friends & the biggest assholes in my year on a daily basis. Doesn't bother me at all.

The Daily Mail is known globally for being Onion-like in it's reporting. If there's a shred of truth to this story, there's a lot of background information & mental instability that the article isn't making people aware of.

The guy being bullied overreacted for sure but the girls are partially to blame for contributing to his mental instability.

It's sad that it had to end this way, fortunately none of them died though and now both the girls and the guy have to deal with the consequence of their action for the rest of their lives.

I also agree, but it's sad to think it could have been avoided if they didn't just bully him in the first place. No one deserved the punishment they recieved, for different reasons.
