Who using GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP)?

Morning.
As i mention in my previous thread, i cant use my Adobe Photoshop because lack of my RAM.
So i have found another software that is alternative to Photoshop which is GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) software.
If any forum members in Sinister.ly is also using this GIMP Software, i really appreciate if we can sharing experience about using this software.

Your computer should have an in built software that deals stuff like that. It isn't the best nor the greatest.

GIMP is a great piece of open source software for photo editing. I have it on my Linux system, as I strongly dislike proprietary software (the only exception being video games).

yes, i need that software for photo editing, and do some others IT stuff like create advertisement, logo, brochure, banner, poster.

Given It's developed under the GPL license, It's a pretty good alternative to Adobe Photoshop.

You do realize there's a portable version available?

i already install this GIMP.
I using this software now to complete small IT project .
i just want sharing experience with others members who is using this software too.
So, if i having problems, i can asking them for solution. Biggrin

I realize it, mothered. But i afraid the portable version will not giving me full access to use this software.
Before i install this GIMP Software, i already making some research on pro and con using this software. Biggrin
