Okay, everyone's ignoring my thread or there's no SEO here. Biggrin

I just want to ask if you are into SEO and want to use tools. Maybe I can help.

I'd like to learn some SEO, but currently I don't have a lot of time for it.
As an article writer it is really handy to know. So I will probably invest some time into it.

@DaPaus,

Nice meeting you, btw. You are a HCGold Member and I have not seen you welcome me. Biggrin

Okay you said you are a writer? A freelance writer? Never mind.

I don't know if you already know this, but:

If you write an article:

1. Place most important keywords in the first few sentences in your article. Start your intro loaded with the main keyword.
2. When writing articles less than 800 words, focus on 1 main keyword, and LSI.
Example:
Main Keyword: Dog Training
Variation: Training for Dogs
3. It's also a good rule of thumb that you add images and resources for your article. But not required.
4. Create a Killer article title that Contains the Main keyword in the first three words of the title.
5. Create an article that stands apart from any other article post, in the SERP where you want to rank for, in a significant margin.
6. Load your article with obvious value beyond self promotion. Make it educational, funny, or keep your stop words lesser in number because they bore readers.

hmmm. I think that's all. Keyword placement is what you need to learn if you are a writer.

tools really not affect seo and it's sucking your money and time .. try to use free tools as it's good and same as paid tools .. that's my advice to you from my experience.

Hi @daada2010, I was just asking him if he's into tools. I'm not saying I or he should use tools. Thanks for the input. You are correct in some point of view, however, tools are only as good as the information you feed it or tools are as good as how you are using it.

We SEOs, use tools like SEO management tools to make our SEO projects easier to manage. Like to track our SEO projects. Is that going to affect how effective our SEO campaigns are? It's like saying that a project manager is likely going to be ineffective using gantt charts to tract projects.

And how about if I crack tools that are over-priced, is it going to drain my money? Biggrin I am referring to the notorious SENuke...

Also, you can rarely find free tools that are as good as paid tools. Paid tools are "Paid" because it costs them money to develop the tool and development means, the tool is more likely going to get better and better.
