Who Knows about TVs?

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking to get a new television, now there are loads, LCD, LED, Plasma, LED-LCD etc.
I'm not sure what to go for I have a specification which I'll post below but I'm just so stuck, When I went to the Eurogamer Expo they had really really nice Televisions, from Sony but not sure what ones they were, They haven't emailed me back.

Could someone help me find the best TV for playing fast paced shooting games. Recommend me one?

- Highest refresh rate
- Massive colour Ratio e.g 70000000: 1

Were you playing console or PC games?

Mainly Console, I use the TV screen for everything, PC and Console, Its the same Screen. Also, Needs to be 32"

I tried playing PC games on larger screens and I didn't really like it. I guess I'm used to my laptop's screen.

I have a Samsung 42" Plasma and I love it.
You should look at them.
It's great for games and movies.

I would recommend an LED TV, since the plasma can give you some weird experiences. I was thinking to go with a plasma as well, but the reseller and many others told me to go with an LED or LCD for the better experience, and also turn of the Hz.

Why would I turn off the Hz,? The Hz is the refresh rate of the screen, for fast paced fps games you need a high refresh rate...

Well, i know that the Hz if the refresh rate, but atleast here, the TV's has a limited refresh rate which isnt that good, by disable it, or 'let it get unlimited' lol, it will refresh more
