Most likely i'm using Vim whenever I'm coding.

If I am working on a larger project that needs things like refactoring and all those fancy functions that can be a pain to do in vim, though, I use Atom/Intellij(in relation to java only) and always with VIM keybindings.

Once you go Vim you never go back

Sublime 3 for pretty much everything, Eclipse for Java and VS for C# when I need to make GUI applications. GNU Nano is actually great if you take the time to configure syntax highlighting and such.

I've used brackets a little bit, but not enough to form an opinion.

If I need to use a terminal editor and Nano isn't available, I prefer Vi over Vim or Emacs; I find it a lot simpler and I often don't need all the bells and whistles.

If I'm being honest, the only time I use Emacs is when I can't figure out how to quit it.

Notepad++ whenever I'm using my main, windows computer.
If using linux, I prefer using Geany.

I've tried using sublime text and such, but in my opinion these are too fancy yes I said it
