The free service Is obviously welcomed, but In my view, their pricing Is too expensive.

Nowadays, 500GB of data storage Is pretty mediocre and If you're a gamer with a very decent library, It'll consume that capacity In no time at all.

I never use cloud services. Only on the phone sometimes. I always store my information on a spare ssd drive.

In terms of privacy and reliability, multiple local backups Is the way to go.

in term of privacy peoples can Encrypt their files before upload to any cloud, doesn't take so much time to encrypt

I personally use Nextcloud on my dedicated server, I don't trust online services.
Nextcloud is now very stable now, with lots of plugins, it can basically replace Google Drive/docs/cal/etc !
