I've had countless USB sticks and SSDs lose functionality.

I used Dropbox years ago, but I don't recommend these types of services. If anything, I'd host an FTP server through a datacenter you trust.

Still the case. I have very little trust for these kinds of services. If you're hosting low-risk content security-wise, then maybe they aren't so bad.

I use google drive, one drive and mega only for those files I'm sharing and designs I have made and want them to be available for reuse always. Otherwise I'm using external hard drives
