I was sitting here doing my homework browsing through DZ and this question just popped into my mind because I only saw a few debate threads that I liked.
Before I post my opinion I would like to make sure this debate is an actual debate. Quote people who you disagree/agree with and say why! Don't just post your opinion like on the majority of the threads in here, actually debate.

How I think our world will come to an end:

I think the world will come to an end due to a lack of resources and the effect it will have on the people. It may not be anytime soon unless we lose a major resource, but it will be a terrible ending. One of the first things that will come out of it will be wars, whether they be civil or international. It's just a part of human greed to get what we need, so once the resources are limited we will do almost everything we can to get them. These wars will kill not only people, farmland, and animals, but it will also kill the economy. Everybody will be living in poverty and all government funding will be going towards the wars. Due to not enough funding going to new technologies, we will then be going nowhere and eventually collapse until we are shunned from this universe.

May sound a little far-fetched, but it is a debate after all.

How do you come to the conclusion that man was made to destroy itself?
What if we were attacked as a whole by some "other-worldly force"?
Wouldn't we cooperate and possibly gain world peace?

I agree on this. Look at oil right now. We will only have enough oil for the next 40-50 years. People will go ham when they notice there is no more oil.

World peace can not be achieved. It may sound harsh, but humans just can't, mainly because of different beliefs.

I Personally think North Korea is going to surprise us with something and WW3 well start and other shit with China and they can take us over if they wanted.

I agree on this. Look at oil right now. We will only have enough oil for the next 40-50 years. People will go ham when they notice there is no more oil.

I don't feel it will necessarily be over oil, though. We are already innovating and the other day I read an article about somebody from Asia(Taiwan possibly) who built a 100% air-powered car. If we keep at it with inventions like this and can get them on the streets it may be awhile before a downfall over resources happens.

Even so, that wouldn't be a complete downfall since it's only a few countries fighting. It may end a few countries, but not the world.

If we had so outside predator, it may be possible. We maay have different beliefs, but we all have one thing in common. We don't want to be conquered by a different species.

I think that every country will end up with no oil. Than there will be world war 3 so people can get oil. Why does this happen in our generation? Lol

I think religious conflict will get us sooner or later. More so than political.
