So i got this spare pc lying around, nothing special:
4gb ram
dual core processor
250gb hdd
gpu is probably some integrated intel one
So anyways i was thinking i should put it to used. I'm thinking of hosting a website from it or maybe leaving a gobot running on it or something. I would like any ideas on what i should do with it. Thanks in advance!

Whenever I had a spare computer, I ran steam trading bots and shit for TF2.
Not sure if they still work, but hat's one suggestion.

Learn Linux! LXC is fun to mess around with.
On the other end of the spectrum, I'm a huge telephony buff and I like to play around with Asterisk. Build a PBX, could be fun.

Agreed with Axari with the Linux part though if you host your own website via LAMP stack, you can learn some pretty good stuff
