I was wondering about other operating systems besides Linux, Windows, and Mac.

I doubt that you have ever actually interfaced with Linux if you didn't know it started in the 90s. The four major kernels, which is what Linux is, are Unix, Linux(derived from unix), darwin(base behind macOS/iOS), and the Windows kernel. There are others, some proprietary and some public, but I wouldn't recommend using any ol' kernel for your computer for security reasons.

You can more call it a net browser with some extra functions. But that's it. Even writing text doc's happends in the cloud, and you can only install apps from the app store.

FreeBSD! It is Unix not Linux and I don't know any other OS's than that.

I'm a bit new to Linux. I have used it before though.
