I concur. I too am using Windows 8 on both my laptop and my computer. I always upgrade to the newest version of Windows regardless of it's useability or faults. It's just a habit of mine persay. I can say that this operating system is trying too hard to combine a tablet OS with a desktop OS. I have not used the start menu (live tiles) in quite awhile.. and prefer to just remain on the Desktop. However, on the other hand if I had a tablet I could see myself using the tablet OS.. not the desktop. I don't think they mesh very well and there aren't very many smooth transitions when switching from one world to another.

Right now running on Windows 8.
I was thinking about dual-booting Mint.
Might, but might not.

Going to give Kali a shot, though I think this'll be my boot off a thumb drive OS.

I am running a 64-bit version of Windows 7 atm. I had Windows 8 but it locked me out of my own user and lost so many things.

I am running on Mint cinnamon at the moment, I think it looks nice and sleek imho. On my desktop I just installed BT5 gnome as my main OS as I find myself using it alot.
