I hate complicated things, so Windows is my choice but I would prefer Ubuntu/Manjaro and any other cool Linux distros.

For compatibility reasons to suit my overall usability, I've always used the Windows platform.

That said, I do have a few Linux distros running simultaneously on VMs- with all VHDs backed up for migration as the need arises.

I like Windows. I hear that it's better to use Linux but Windows is used so much everywhere and is what I have used for years so it would be very hard to switch over.

If your system has the resources to run a VM efficiently, you've got nothing to lose by Installing Linux In a virtual environment.

I'm very similar to yourself with Windows- I've been running It since the good old 16 bit Windows 3.1 back In the mid 90s.

I'm having fun running a very lightweight build of Ubuntu called PeppermintOS right now. It's what Chrome should've been but looks and feels a lot like Windows. You can basically turn any webpage you want into a freestanding app free of browser lag. You get to make your own web based apps instead of only being able to use Google Chrome and their office suite.
I keep a huge number of different operating systems to play with on my personal server though. I'm constantly changing it up.
