TAIMI’s got a top 10 list of queer films that’s perfect for catching up during Romance Awareness Month. I’ve watched a few from the list, and my personal favorite is Moonlight. The storytelling is so raw and emotional, and it really gives you a glimpse into the struggles that queer people of color face, from their identity to love and self-acceptance. It’s no wonder Moonlight is considered one of the best films of the 21st century. I’d also recommend Portrait of a Lady on Fire if you’re in the mood for something visually stunning and romantic. The cinematography is breathtaking! Definitely check out the list, you’ll find some gems there.
