Good point.
Especially with proof backing up your post in this very thread.

You should be a lawyer. ( Not really ).

Also I'm incredibly slow, I just absorbed that you are a mod now.

Wait around a bit more.

@Breshie stahp.
People are trying to make the monies. They can't know about the googles.

How are you too young to "dox" due to a countries age restrictions on a credit card? You were once not old enough for a bank account as well, the person is here to learn, he asked whats the best way to go about learning to dox someone and all he gets is people telling him to pay someone else to do it for him? What kind of community is that lol.

One that accepts that the best ways to do things are kept secret. And $0.50 isn't paying much to have someone else do the legwork. Some dox can take a very long time to compile, depending on their information, or lack of.

There are no "secrets" to doxing, there might be strategies and information scrapers created to speed up and automate the process, but there isn't a big "private" doxing method that gives you 100% accurate results every time. Doxing is trial and error and hoping that the person you're looking for has been stupid enough to leave their breadcrumbs around the net for you to follow.

Different ways have different results and different levels of accuracy however, and that's what I'm referencing.

Yeah I understand that, but those different ways aren't "private" it's just something logical that another human being has thought of, thus isn't difficult to come across during trial and error or just actually reading a few tutorials on different forums and trying it out perhaps on yourself to begin with; either way my point is, the community should be pushing people towards being educated, not buying it to be done for them when it's VERY easy for them to do themselves if they're pushed in the right direction.

Doxing is borderline, if not entirely, invasion of privacy and considered in most parts illegal or highly disrespectful.
This boy clearly wants to put this knowledge to use, and as such, he shouldn't be using or committing to such decisions before he is of an age that he can think properly in the long run, and by that time you can generally grab a credit card.

Telling him how to do it directly, by the by, will actually put him at greater risk.
We are indeed a terrible community for not giving a child the tools that will put him in danger.

I was sort of expecting a more compelling argument.
One that didn't basically spell out "You're right, I'm wrong, but I won't admit it".

But oh well. My quest for a better debate goes on.
Maybe I'll bugger @Aurora for it.

Okay, the reason I didn't have a more 'compelling argument' is cause I didn't think it'd be good practice to argue with members who've been here a while when I've just joined but since you're actually game for an intellectual debate of opinions; so be it.

My point mainly is that regardless of how old he/she may or may not be, they are seeking information, if they put that new discovered knowledge to bad use then that is their own problem, they gained the knowledge but were obviously too weak mentally. My view on blackhat subjects is that it'd be ignorant to not know the methods blackhat hackers use, but just because you learn ways to use blackhat methods and exploits, that doesn't mean you should.

Quote:Just because you can do something, doesn't me you should do it

Pretty sure that quote has been around for decades but most likely reworded a thousand different ways but you get my point I'm sure.

Anyway I feel like I've drifted slightly.. Basically we should give them the knowledge they ask for or give them a means of learning it for themselves by pointing them in the right direction and then let them decide what they want to do with the information they learn, I just think it's bad practice as a community to give people the option of buying something they can do themselves with threads that can probably be found on the same forum.
