So I noticed that a lot of you guys watch anime, so it kinda got me interested how you got interested in it.

As for me it's a somewhat longer and a bit of a sentimental story.
It all started when i was 7, I was going to visit my grandpa in the countryside with my little sister by car. And just 1km away from my grandpas house, we got into a terrible car accident. My little sister lost her mobility in the legs, I got lucky somehow and only went into a coma for quite a while. As for our driver, she didn't get so lucky.

After my sister got the freedom taking away from her legs, she didn't go out and got sick very often, so she didn't leave the house that often. She started to watch the TV very often and i started to keep her company most of the time. One day my father updated the tv channels, and while surfing the channels we came across a little german channel called RTL2, which often streamed some animes/cartoons. Even though it was german and we didn't understand it, we started to just, stare at it, and eventually we both learned god damn german by just watching cartoons XD

And that's my story, i could've put it up without the drama but i kinda felt like sharing it.

I watched it because my friend recommended it to me, and I watched a lot after that.

When I was young, I used to stay up late and watch Adult Swim (without my parents knowing, of course). I would normally stay up in hopes Inuyasha would play. I'd watch an episode every once in awhile and I enjoyed it. After a while, they started airing Inuyasha at ridiculous times (around 4am normally), so I gave up on watching it. I didn't ever think of buying the boxed sets or torrenting it since I was so young. Years later I tried to stay up again and ended up running into Cowboy Bebop. I looked it up and ended up watching the entire thing from start to finish. Cowboy Bebop is still my favorite anime.

I can only remember the basics of the plot. Hilariously enough, I bought the DVDs but haven't even finished half of it. It's a long series.
