No, just most workplaces seem to favor OSX for development so I needed one for collaboration. Admittedly, I absolutely love it having always used Windows until now.

I think OSX + XCode is the best development environment once can have. The only exceptions to this are when you're working with embedded systems (the OSX LD flavor lacks features used for those).

Hmm. I work with someone who loves XCode. I've actually never even tried it out as I've stuck with mostly Atom until now and have ran VSCode for a few test runs also. You've inspired me to look a bit more into it though.

Cool setup!

XCode is amazing dude.... VS took a few of their key features from it.

it's worked like a champ for me for over a year. I've abused the fuck out of it (why all the paint is missing), and it's still going strong.

The mod is lovely I know, I had a gold/black one, it died after a year of usage, my friend had two of them, both died.
I wish you luck with yours.

I've had no problems with mine (except USB charging, but I have 3 sets of batteries and a few chargers so I don't mind), and two of my friends have them as well with no problems.

I have a poor mans set up for my computer work space, small desk, cheap stereo hooked into a laptop, metal shelf next to desk holding my server, printer and other things I keep at hand. The most expensive thing is my power strip, which was 3$, everything else was free.

That PC looks like it's out of 1999! I used a much smaller desk at one point (my keyboard was wider), with the same 3 monitors now on my current desk

Haha, you got the holiday spirit though! Surprising you took the time to do that.

That's what $1,650 will get you man... Coupled with a $1,300 custom PC and it's a boss rig.
