I wanted to know what you all specialize in, or aspire to specialize in. Also, how did you get started?

Are there any "role model" figures or other important figures that have encouraged you to chose it?
Where do you want to be in a couple of years or so?

I specialise in Web design & development, I've always been into it, but there was one "relief teacher" that taught me the basics and inspired me to learn a whole lot more than I already did.

I want to get into Biomedical since I played the video game Deus Ex.

Just kidding, I would like to get into a job with computer hardware or get a job in Video Game Programming! Seems like it would be a fun job and I have recently found a new love for computers, and I have always loved video games so it is natural for me to want to make them!

Computer science and mathematics, I've been using computers since I was 4 and I got into programming at a young age. Ever since then it's expanded to a lot more than just programming.

Programming, malware and exploit kits to be specific, and cracking/breaking into systems.. Maybe getting to be a certified ethical hacker. My influences are the mentor (cliche I know), and the lulsec hackers (for their skill mostly).

I actually specialize in Microelectronics in real life. I had no role model yet, the inspiration and desire came from my fascination with designing computers making them more powerful, pushing the technology to improve much more.

As to how I got* started, I took it as my major in college. I hope to bring about a significant difference and development in the near future, I love working in this industry.
