We run food processing analysis and I specialize in spore analysis. We also have many huge companies that have us test things for us before releasing them to the public such as; Pespsi, Kellogs and KanPak.
I have a fun job and there is no "typical day" but some days like today it can get really stressful because those bottles cam in today and had to be shipped back out to day, inoculated and everything.
Wow, that does sound pretty damn fun if you're into science like myself. I'd love to work as a microbiologist or one of their assistants considering you can learn a ton of those little guys(good and bad). And what company were those bottles from?
KanPak made the bottles, I labeled and inoculated them with 0.5mL of Bacillus cereus and shipped it off to Pepsi for them to test their bottling machine sterilization.
GG, well done. I loled at how you have to sterilize them and yet theyre going to continie testing their sterilization.
