Ideally a base knowledge in operating system fundamentals and a LOT of reading documentation and books on Windows internals and white/research papers and articles and forums and example source code. And preparation for enough BSODs that will last multiple lifetimes. Biggrin

You're taking Criminology and Cyber Security, and want to be a moderator on Sinisterly. Are you SURE that you don't want to be a digital police officer?  Wink

omg lol. For the amount of times I get that, I would be rich lol. Never will be a police officer. although it's a government job, shit pay and techno thou.

I guess that's just in your country of Australia and other countries, then, because in Canada, being a police officer is a great career. You can join municipal police forces and eventually be making over $100,000 a year, you can join the RCMP if you like to travel to totally different places all across the country (and within six years you can be making over $100,000 a year), etc.

In the RCMP, you get free training, $500/week as an allowance at the training depot, they pay for you to travel to the depot in Saskatchewan and back, you get all your healthcare benefits, etc.

Fuck, that's good income money. If all fails here, I've planned to move to Canada anyway. (Aussie jobs are impossible to get.)

That'd be awesome! You can come live anywhere, except for Nunavut. Do not live in Nunavut. Nunavut is a shit hole; it is practically a third-world native-people enclave within Canada.

If you move to Vancouver, you'll be living in an apartment or maybe a basement suite for the rest of your life. The housing market is very bad right now.

Goodness, how accurate:

And then allocate half your time analyzing the memory dump file to see exactly what went wrong.
