Regardless if you take precautions they can just take a peak into Google's Servers and bam. Time to use other things. Regardless why are we all of a sudden giving a shit? They've been at this for years, they already know so much. Why should we all of a sudden start taking precautions, when they have years of information on us already?

Because we don't want it to be that way. That's why. You think technology has developed a lot in the past 20 years? Imagine how much of our lives will revolve around it in another 20 years. It's not good for the government to be so involved, even if they have the reasoning "if you don't have anything to hide, it's fine."

And what, sitting behind a keyboard is gonna make things change? I don't see my neighborhood, or hell my state in an uproar. Shit isn't going to change until it starts affecting our state of comfort, by then it'll probably be too late. Never said it was good for the Government to be involved, I do not in anyway support the American Government, and I believe it needs some reform. Yes, we'll be far more dependent on it in the future, just as we are as dependent on it now. But, I don't see change happening unless people stand up for it, and sadly hacking groups like Anonymous, and what not aren't going to help the cause. They can only preach to the side that understand their argument, the uneducated will simply believe the government when they state they are "cyber-terrorists" or some shit.
