I fully understand your position.

The problem Is, you cannot take your cell phone with you In the shower and If the Incident happens there, there's no access to the phone In the next room. Although suited to the elderly, an SOS panic button alarm Is the way to go. It's worn around the neck at all times whilst at home, and Is fully waterproof.

A lot of phones are water resistant now, so I wouldn't be surprised if more become waterproof in the coming years (it's been done).

I'm not sure how It will handle steam (In the shower) - It can enter the device a lot easier than water.

In the case of the shower its as close as possible. Usually on the bathroom counter, about 6 feet away.

That's good to read.

When living alone, anything can happen at any time, so It's paramount to have a point of contact at your fingertips.

My greatest fear is unfortunately death itself. I really do not mind death due to old age or a normal death. But death in any other way is a cause of worry to me. No one can predict when and how you will leave the world. But this fear is always lingering in my mind.

I think the older you get, the more you realize that age Is catching up with you and will lead to death a lot sooner than later.

Fear of losing my parents (May they live longer than me).... There is no doubt that this will happen but I don't really wanna face that day.
