I changed my way of thinking.

Nowadays, I simply diarize everything In order of priority, and make sure each task/event Is attended to as needed.

I agree man. I too have a very bad habit of smoking. I swear sometimes. and another is my drinking problem, I cannot sleep without chugging a mug of beer or 2 or 3 or 4 and Im starting to feel the effects of these bad habits now. But meh, let it be.

Smoking tobacco and vaping used to be a problem for me, now I have cut nicotine out of my life completely.

im a fidgeter and a biter. all my pens have teeth marks in them and I've bit right through them a few times. Ink isnt great in your mouth. I have a plastic tangle thing i can fidget with but nothing for my mouth. All the mouth fidget "toys" look like shit for babies and I'm not gonna be caught dead with a chew toy in my mouth at work.

I was a smoker for many years, and It's certainly a difficult habit to kick.

From my experience, you must be mentally ready to quit without a shadow of a doubt.

I completely agree with you, but I'm not ready for that yet. Life is a complicated thing. Although I'm just wondering how you decided to quit smoking?

I tried many times by making up all sorts of excuses, such as I'll quit on my birthday, New Years etc.

The day came when my mind was set In stone - I was absolutely certain that I'd quit without a shadow of a doubt. I did It cold turkey (bad move), and became very sick for around 3 weeks. By no means was It easy, but I remained firm and to this day, I haven't had a single puff for over 12 years.
