I think some of the nostalgia may be from people being children/not being bill-paying adults in that time-period, so I don't know if those feelings would be specific to the 2010s or moreso the age they were during that decade xD

I don't particularly miss the decade as sadly that was peak time for the social media anxieties I had among my female friends and a lot of issues around insecurities. I don't know if young guys (or others) went through the same thing but it was a pretty toxic world for me. I'm eternally grateful I'm not in those years anymore.

I also came to gaming late in life so missed a lot of these golden ages within the gaming world. Then again, most of my favourite games came out in the last 5 years.

I’d say the music. One of the interesting things about music though is that even listening to a song from that era can be enough to bring you back into that feeling in time.

I am not super interested in comparing the quality of songs/albums released in a calendar year versus others, but I do think the early 2010s was a pretty significant year for music.
