I really don't like Intel. My dad was an AMD man, so that's how I got onto the kick when I was a kid. My first computer had an AMD CPU I believe. I don't think I've ever owned a desktop or a laptop with an Intel processor. The main reason I stuck with not liking them was because these reasons. For starters I don't like them as a company, and they're at times shady. On the other hand the amount of exploits for Intel CPU's nowadays has increased a lot, mainly because in the past, Intel was basically the standard. In gaming right now, if you want the best price, with the best performance people go with AMD. Lastly, half the time you don't know if you're being watched by your own computer. It's happened many times now with Intel that we find out they're collecting data on their users. That's why I don't like Intel.

yes I understand your point of view on Intel. I had both types of chips computers. This was back when windows vista was in service. The AMD chip in that computer was very slow in performance wise back then. I know AMD does have a CPU chip out now for gaming computers.

Yeah AMD's Ryzen chips are amazing. Six cores that are real and not crappy like the FX series chips, for $160, which is great.
yes, I might try that Ryzen Chip later on.

All my life I have been using Intel, until some years ago that I decided to build up my own computer and I choosed AMD.
Reason?
Intel is like what most people have, I dont like to be like most, and the price/performance relation is very good comparing with Intel.

Neither, x86 is a horrific architecture.
