If you want to get into graphic design, start making stuff and share it here. But be ready for brutally honest critique.

Easiest way to self learn is to read tutorials, and experiment with techniques you learn from them, from my experience. It also really depends on what specifically you want to do with graphics, as even graphic design covers a lot of different things.
