I have no idea but your internet is hella faster than mine.
If I understand correctly though the transfer rates between the devices could slow it down.

You should check rates between the devices.
Like the speed when you computer is plugged directly into modem.
Speed when modem is plugged into router and router is plugged into computer
Speed when modem is in router and computer is using wifi right beside router.
Speed when computer is at its original location using the wifi.

Speedtest isn't always all that accurate. The connection speed isn't all that bad though.

Have you tried this again at a different time?
Somebody else who was on the connection and browsing could've brought your speeds down, possibly?

You're probably using hardware somewhere along the way that only supports first-gen ethernet.
