The Atari landfill and the ET video game's

In my first Entry I noted that The video game company fell to the E.T. video game, but theres another, more creepier, rumor surrounding it.

The Landfill

Supposedly after the market crash in the early 80's, Atari had millions of copies of the E.T. Games as well as many Atari home systems. Because of this, Atari had to dispose of the cartridges in a landfill. That land fill is so elusive only one thing is know about it, it's somewhere in new mexico. but Atari has released the name of a town it's nearby. So if you want to go get some E.T. games, go dig up a land fill! But that's not quite it, we aren't sure if there are actually that many cartridges, Atari said "Although it is true, that millions were shipped back, we have records that the E.T. games were dumped, but so were overstock on other things."

In entry #2 I showed AVGN Video, well AVGN is doing a movie, right at this very moment, about the game. Here is the trailer

That's fine, just don't go overboard on the threads. They are interesting, but you could always just update a single thread multiple times.

The most influential home consoles ever to exist

That's right, i'm listing down the most influential home consoles ever to exist, from A-Z or from the Odyssey-PS2.

The Odyssey

The Odyssey was the first home console ever to exist. it only had two color on the screen and no graphics, because of this, they had to use screen overlays as the games.

Atari2600

The Atari2600 was Atari's golden age of home systems, this game used more complex, but still rudimentary graphics than the Odyssey. And was the weekend thriller of US kids in the 70's

The N.E.S.

The Nintendo Entertainment System brought the game industry out of the ground along with Nintendo, came Atari and Sega. There were many different styles including the black and grey, white and grey, top loader, and Javanese Famicon version. The N.E.S. was released in 1995 in the US and Europe, while the Famicon was released in 1993 in japan. It also featured great advancements in graphics compared to the Atari systems.

The Sega Genesis

"Sega Does what Ninten DONT" This was Sega's Slogan for their new 16-BIT machine. (BTW the N.E.S. had 8-BIT) This system started the "BIT WARS" This was a battle between Atari, Sega and Nintendo of who could build the game system with the "Most BITS"

The S.N.E.S.

The S.N.E.S (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) was the 16-BIT equivalent of the N.E.S. and sealed the BIT Wars.

The N64

The N64 finalized that 3D games were the new hit and would mist likely be staying that way. this game fixed all the problems with old 3D games while also improving to 64-BIT it also kicked the ass of the Atari-Jaguar Knocking Atari off as one of the big game company's. It is also reviewed as one of the best systems of all time.

The CD-I

The CD-I revolutionized the CD-ROM technology and blurred the line between games and movies. Although the game system was a huge failure, the modern systems hold the same CD-ROM Technology.

The PS1 and PS2

The PS1 and PS2 made by Sony, were influential in the 3D industry. They also hosted one of the biggest and best library's ever. they also made it easier to delete save files. and pioneered in using external memory cards to hold saves.

The Sega Dreamcast

This system boasted technology way ahead of its time. The controller had a screen on it, the game could read your voice through a headset, and the games had almost the exact same library as the PS1 and PS2 combined.
I feel this system was so ahead of its time, that it is what dropped Sega off
the list of major game company's.
