So these Indian scammers keep calling me trying to sell me illicit Viagra. The other day they called me, and I repeatedly told them my number is on the do not call list. The response from the other end was not what I expected, the man said "You know what? You a nigga, you a fuckin nigga!" I've been harassed, but this is the first time Ive been insulted by a telemarketer. Anyone else have an experience like this?

I've experienced rude telemarketers, but nothing to what you've described.

As @Oni mentioned and as you're well aware, simply don't answer unknown and blocked/private numbers. Keep your voicemail active (In case of missed urgent calls) and never personalize the greeting- It's only another way to Identify that you're the rightful owner of the cell phone.

Furthermore, If you speak with a telemarketer, don't Inform them about your number being on the "do not call list". That's yet another way they Identify that your number "actively" belongs to you. Once they're aware of this, they'll simply keep calling.
