Like he's stated many times over, it all goes into the site, not to pocket.

Not to mention that the forum costs an insane amount of money that he pays out of pocket for. Especially when there aren't any donations at all.

Despite this thread Is around 6 months old, I find It quite Informative.

Prior to reading It, I didn't know the denomination for both SP & money In purchasing the upgrades.

Nobody says you got to buy the upgrades, earn them you can buy all the upgrades with NSP be active and eventually you will get enough for upgrades.

Its not money hungry its business. He has to get some sort of income for improvements and server costs.

Honestly I would be surprised if he even makes $1000 a a month from the forums.

Fire is right! Although, I think he'd love to make $1000 a month. It would help cover the bills (I know just how expensive they are and when you take into account that the forum is nearly 3 years old... He's been dishing out very month for 36 months.)

Oni also has put a shit ton of hard, unpaid work to make the forum what it is now.

He does a better job than most owners and he tries his best to be as fair as possible. One such example: making upgrades available through NSP.

Why are there so many upgrades? 2 is good, 3 is OK, but 5 seems like you're money hungry.

I've wondered if 5 was too many, but it seemed pointless to just stop at Gold. I actually prefer if people earn the upgrades, rather than just buy them.
