Unrelated, but I've been considering moving the sections up/down based on their activity. Out of 1,000,000 posts, the Social Engineering section has almost 100,000. This was not originally the case, so it's an oddity. @mothered might have input.

It gives access to several sections, normally denoted by:
"You must be an upgraded member to access this section."

I don't believe there'd be enough activity/content to warrant the section's Implementation.

Every traditional method Is already open for discussion and contribution, which Is what keeps social engineering active day In, day out. And It's the main reason why there's close to 100k posts - without methods, SEing would be non-existent. Seldom do members have private/new methods to share and If they did, to avoid saturation, I'd say they'd be reluctant to disclose them.

I'd argue if they are paranoid about saturation, a $15 forum upgrade is not going to alleviate their concerns.

Perfectly said. I imagine if there are sharing of "exclusive" methods it'll be within a small group chat or 1 on 1 anyway.

100k low quality posts, I think, from looking through the first couple of pages that its almost all questions about a new users refund, "can i refund this Iphone 13 from amazon." " Should i use dna or eb. " "if i sign a pr will the police come and raid my house"

No one wants to share a method to the entirety of the forum if there are no other methods being shared.
Having a more exclusive forum where others are also sharing methods, would prompt you to share a method too, dont you think?
You could add that not only do you have to be VIP but you also have to share a couple of methods to get in, or to stay in?
Maybe that is what the private deciet group is, so apologies if there is this in existance.

I have many private methods, and to avoid saturation/misuse, I will not disclose them under any circumstances. I'm sure social engineers who operate In a similar fashion, share the same standpoint.

A given method can well and truly be saturated within a week, which Is why SE'ers keep It to themselves and the reason It's not even remotely discussed.
