Make better protection from spam #1
Hey, Is it that hard to make better protection from spam like this? (Picture is bellow) It's getting annoying and there could be some members that will click it and get some malware. This is not the first time and will not be the last if you don't make a registration form with some sort of questions that bots can't answer or a better captcha. It would make the job of moderators easier and the forum would be spam free.

I don't believe in what I say. Everything is just fictional and made for a good laugh.

I don't answer PM.

Rest Assured Moderators are always here to help and to protect you from malware, it is compulsory to check each and every file that you download from any sites; it will be for your own safety. I remember this thread it was about G2A Method, You won't be infected by these file as it is just a scam.
And in my opinion, these are real people that post these; so by adding that feature, it won't change anything.
Appreciate your suggestion towards the Forum!
*each and every day the admins are trying to make this forum a better place

This is the case. We have a blacklist for certain words people can't use on new accounts and this goes for links as well. While anything is possible with regex, it's been a cat and mouse game for a long time. We blacklist a word, they circumvent the filter...

People need to be wary of what they do and what they download. Someone that is newly registered is not going to teach you how to make $100/hr, use common sense.

Absolutely, I have not stick in any other forums for too long but I think that every forums experiences these incidents and the Administrators are not  to be blamed in this as this is unavoidable. I also prefer to check each and every files that I download from the Net before running it for precaution.

Thanks for your reply, I didn't expect that an admin would see my topic. There are many options to stop this, confirmation of the posts? Let the member post after some time. For now they register and go to create posts and topics instantly, you don't have to wait or anything. Yeah, it can affect normal users that register to the forum to have real discussions and not to post some links. But you have to do something that will make them tired and they don't want to do that anymore. This is only my opinion, if you think that updating the link black list helps, then why not.

Yes, it is possible to make better protection from spam. There are a variety of methods you can use, such as: requiring users to answer a few questions that bots can't answer; implementing a captcha system that is difficult for bots to solve; using an automated spam filter; and creating a strong password policy. Additionally, you can use a combination of these methods, as well as other security measures, to ensure the security of your forum.

We are not dealing with bots, those security measures are already implemented on the forum by the admin don't worry.
Thank You for your crucial information though.

They most definitely are.

They're the same users multi-accounting behind a VPN. As such, spam protection will serve very little to no purpose.

Make it a requirement for new members to have maybe 5 posts before they can make a thread. This should be enough to validate most of their motives. @mothered @dooveee

I plead the fifth.
