I've never been charged for TV in the hospital.

Surprisingly nothing like diabetes, just stupid and annoying stuff like asthma and phlegm problems

I'm a very fair person and If I use a paid service, I do pay for It. But when the TV was neglected and remained on (without my knowledge, consent or request), I don't believe It's up to me to fix their mistake by taking care of the bill.
And yes, $15 a day as you've experienced, Is a rip-off.
