A builder is used to customize user-settings. But the real deal is always the stub.
So in case of a keylogger, stub is the keylogger.
Make your keylogger inside stub. With options like recording keystrokes, sending email, etc.
Now in those subroutines and functions take input to be acquired by the stub when it is built.
For example, if you have a function in a timer of sending email then take the minutes required as input from what the builder is going to insert in the stub.
With a few tests, you will get the idea.
