I was doing some elite searching and discovered this post by a user @Pikami. The thread's from 2018 but it's a great read on easy backdoors in open-source projects.

But if you scroll to the bottom of the thread you'll notice a Github in the source lists, leading to a user on Github. It's a long list of curated npm packages. That user also has a long list of OSINT sources that's updated often of you're interested. Also check out the exploits and PDFs if you're interested in the reading list.
