How to Crypt a Harddrive or Folder #1
Hi,

First of all READ THIS THREAD PROPERLY! I've had posts and PMs about is there a private version, its better to get a paid version. THIS IS NOT TO CRYPT A RAT OR KEYLOGGER. This is for Crypting Folders and Files and whole hard drives so people cannot read them or access them without a specific password, the algorithms are almost impossible to crack.. This is NOT FOR CRYPTING A VIRUS!

Many people would like to make files unreadable by their friends, family, POLICE! haha well there is a program that does this. It is called TrueCrypt.

Where to get it?

HERE

How to use TrueCrypt and creating the Crypted Volume/Folder

When you have opened TrueCrypt you should see this window. Click Create Volume. (boxed)

You will then be presented with this. Just use the selected default if you want to encrypt a folder which you can store files in and then press next.

Next, you will be shown this. This bit is pretty straight forward, unless you are into some deep shizz, then just use the selected default.

After that you will be shown this

You will need to select where you will want to save the Crypted folder, this can be made anywhere. I would recommend creating it on your desktop, as it will be easy to find also you can move it afterwards. So name your desired volume what you want and click save, then click next. Once you have done all of that you will then be shown this screen.

This is where you need to choose your encryption method, I prefer to use AES - Two Serpant Swordfish but it really is up to you. Once you have chosen click next. You now have to choose the how big you want the volume/folder to be. This depends on what you are storing, so you can make it as small as 1 KB or go all the way up to 1TB just type in the amount you want.

One of the last steps is creating a password for your volume. Once you have chosen your password simply follow the onscreen instructions and complete the creation of your Crypted Volume.

How to load the Crypted Volume/Folder

Run TrueCrypt and you will be back to this screen

Select any of the drive names available in the list and then click "select file" and browse to the crypted volume you created earlier. Should be located on your desktop. When completing the above you should now have this screen with your crypted volume selected.

Click Mount and you will be prompted for the password you used earlier, type in your password and your crypted Volume will be available for use. It will show under "My computer" as a Drive on your PC. Like so:

I use Truecrypt on my laptop (256 AES).
The only issue is that it slows your computer down just a little bit occasionally.

This tool is perfect for stopping Konboot or any other unauthorized access.
The plausible deniability feature is really neat as well.

I bought iCrypt from HF while I was ratting - very good crypter and I'd recommend it to anyone passionate about RATting. Has some cool bonus features too if that appeals to you.

Ahh this isn't a Crypter for making RATS and Key-loggers FUD, this is for crypting Files on your PC like Word documents, SE documents etc, so they can't be opened unless you have a specific password, they are almost near impossible to crack.

I suggest you buy a crypter... The free ones may not work as good... Depending on what Virus Protection they have.

The title is misleading, and it's in the wrong section. You should change the title - I'm moving it to the computers section.

Well it has been moved now, and it wasn't misleading, if people actually read the thread?. Doesn't matter anyway, Glad its been moved and people can understand it now.
