Introduction:

What is hacking? Well, to me, hacking is when you take something and alter it so that it does something other than the original intentions.
So in order to hack some electronics you will need a few things:

• Screwdriver(s) [Flathead, Phillips. Eye-glasses screwdrivers]
  
• Soldering Iron
  
• Pliers
  
• Wire-stripper
  
• Wire
  
• Tweezers
  
• Magnifying Glass (Optional)
  
• De-Soldering Pump (Optional)
  

Some of this may seem unneeded but as you hack more and more electronics you will need more and more tools. Wire is generally found in abundance in scrap electronics in which you can salvage from.

Popular Places For Electronics

• Hardware Stores (Tools and Wire)
  
• Thrift Shops (Old electronics, cheap)
  
• Goodwill (Really, really cheap electronics- good for salvaging.)
  
• AMAZON. (EVERYTHING. Slightly Expensive at times and not always reliable.)
  

Really, the best advice I can give you is this: experiment. Shock yourself a couple times, but never screw around with outlets, stick to battery-electronics until you are good.

Yes! This would be great.
I have an arduino, and its super easy for beginners.
I think the soldering is too much hard work, maybe starting off with breadboards, LEDs, and jumperwires can easily show the basic concept of electronic hacking.

With the tutorials (if, arduino) please add the codes and step by step including pictures, that would be great! I tried making an automated oreo battleship, from a guide that didn't have images, and only described tidbits of code, and it TOTALLY WORKED

Sorry I was having a hard time finding a section especially because it wasn't really security but rather more physical altering, but if this is where you want it thats cool with me.

This was just kind of an introduction to the subject. I wanted to get an idea of how you guys felt about the subject and now I have decided that I will definitely be making more.
