Torrent sites are dropping like flies; Torrentz.eu - down

After 13 years, one of the largest torrent sites has also fallen.

It's amazing how these P2P sites (in this case a search engine) are all just dying. We're forced onto private trackers.

This Is the last site I expected to go down.

Unfortunately, the greed of the motion picture, music and software Industry, will make sure more torrent sites will cease to exist. Kudos to The Pirate Bay for keeping the scene afloat.

Yeah true, I think all 3 founders are no longer Involved.

At least It still provides a gateway to my download needs. That said, I do need to pay extra attention to It's content.

I just wouldn't trust anything from them anymore, there's hardly any moderation anymore, IPTorrents is a wonderful place.

I've always figured those private sites have a form of immunity to takedowns, no?

Shame about all the big sites going down. I'm currently using https://torrentproject.se/ it's really quite good. The advanced search, and being able to search for specific audio types is great.
