I think GTA would work really well as a TV series. As for movies, I'd love to see a Bioshock movie That'd be awesome!

I think that Assassins Creed, Halo, or Call of Duty would make amazing Movies due to the story lines.

Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, God of War , Portal, maybe Dishonored.
Someone said Saints Row and I think those games would make cool movies too. I also wouldn't mind a Ninja Gaiden movie because I like action and ninjas. Some of the bosses from the Ninja Gaiden games would look terrifying on film.

I've been hearing for years about a Halo movie that was in production and then canceled. No matter what the movie was like, it would never be good enough or live up to the games so it's probably for the best that it never came out.
You can't half-ass a Halo movie, you would need an Avatar budget to do it properly.
