This is for getting rid of gravedigging offense. This will purge this problem.
let say a thread post is like more than 16 months long. Do you think it better for the OP or staff closed the thread? Do you think the staff would like my idea? Because why I see a lot of old threads on here.

It got removed? I had no idea. In all honesty no one pays attention to that rule anyway.

The gravedigging rule? I sure hope they are following it.

The text at the bottom saying not to post could be more visible though so that way users are more aware.

Grave digging Is judged on a case-by-case basis so to enforce a rule on general principles, would not be feasible.

yes, they do not. Since I joined this forum it has been happening. Because pretty much I been very active here on this forum. Also, I had seen people post on like a thread from 2015 for an example. The purpose of this thread is too closed all threads postings that succeed a 16-month old or older.

Hard rule to implement since some threads that are older than 18 months are still useful to some members. With @mothered on this one. Maybe when the forum gets to a size where managing all the gravedug posts isn't feasible for the staff this would be good to implement.

Mothered is right. Gravedigging is actually a grey area. We don't want to close all old threads as it can be useful to have them open for further discussion. This is why we judge posts on old threads on a case-by-case basis. Just hit the report button and it will be dealt with by staff. I don't think it's a big enough problem to lock down all older threads.

As for threads like these - What to do:
- Report the gravedig
- DO NOT POST FURTHER ON THE THREAD. You are literally making the problem worse by bumping the gravedig.
