The Hacker Games 11-21-2012, 03:41 AM

Hey everyone, so I was thinking, we should start a game involving hacking that could be played through out the forum! So heres how it goes, I give you a target through a thread ( The target will be a website or user ) And you have to do the given task in order to win. Who ever is first to do the given task, will be given a award, to start off I would start giving AP points. Maybe later on I'll switch it to real money, games, tools, or anything of that sort. For example:
Target: User123
Task: Dox
Award: 150 AP points
Or
Target: website.org
Task: SQLi Injection
Award: 650 AP points
So, what do you guys think?
Wavy baby

This is asking for legal trouble.

Because only the government is illegal to hack? Unless you're honeypotting, it's going to attract some problems.

I think that would be a quite bad idea.
It would be allright if for eksample you made a website, and the target would be to gain access or something in that way.
I know it would not be as fun as normal search&hack, but it would be alot safer

Yeah, unfortunately - somthing like this is asking for legal trouble. It's a fun idea, but it wouln't be so fun if the site gets shut down. We do have offshore hosting and stuff, but this would be ridiculous. Sorry - but I can't really allow something like this, especially if the users being mentioned are on our site. However, you could always set up a site to announce targets and I would have no control over you.
