Well, I was just messing around last night and came up with this drawing.  I used Krita (which is a really cool free program btw) and my mouse (no graphics tablet or anything like that).

Spoiler:

I'm might add some real Hebrew characters later and add any suggestions people suggest.  
If anyone has any objects to add in to add more detail. Suggest away!

I was looking for a program to design old-looking sprites (something like you have) for a game. I have used photoshop, paint.NET and GIMP but I find them pretty hard to use. I mean it's not hard to use them, but to make nice drawings it wasn't my thing. I will look into this program, it might be a lot easier than Photoshop etc...
