I expressed my idea of why "thank" would better serve the community in the sense of a forum where "like" is tailored towards personal preference. In any case, it's fine. Things don't always go my way, just like the election. People don't always go with what makes sense.

In terms of personal choice and preference, there's no right or wrong, each to their own.

An analogy to this Is, I prefer the "Windows" platform whilst others are tailored to Linux. Both serve their purpose, but In a different manner suited to the user. The same can be said regarding the Thanks and Like functionality.

After experiencing the Thanks function, I now prefer the Like.

Good move In changing It back.

That was very deep Primitive. You don't sound like you're having a good day. Maybe it will change back to Thank at some point. You never know.

Plus the election thing... It's 4 years and you get another chance to do something different, keep your head up!

That's an interesting analogy actually xD

Has anybody else noticed that when you click like, the button changes to "remove thank"?

Well spotted, I did not notice It until now.

I just Liked your post here and there It was. Just a simple adjustment In the backend that @Oni can do.

I think it's good that you get a notification for receiving a thanks, lets the user know that their message/post as been viewed but doesn't need a wasteful reply.

This ^^^

I also like the fact that you can custom-set your alert notifications via the UserCP.
