Temp SMS & Email Services #1
For those who take their privacy seriously, using a temp sms and email services is extremely vital to hiding your digital fingerprint as well as your tracks. It is very essential to avoid using your phone number on third-party websites. If you respect your privacy, you should also keep away from reusing your emails. I can understand that reusing the same email can be annoying, but that is one of the best way's to keep yourself and your data hidden from third-party sellers.

Here are the Top Temp-mail Services I recommend:
  1. Guerilla Mail
  2. Temp-mail.org
  3. https://yopmail.com/en/
Personal favorite. It allows you to create temp inboxes of your choice. These inboxes can be accessed at a later time if needed - they never expire.
  4. Tempmail.com
  5. 10minutemail.com
  6. Tempmail.ninja

Here are the top SMS services I recommend:
  1. Smspva.com
  2. Smssmurf
  3. 5sim.net
  4. SMS-Activate.ru
  5. Dmtf (Onion Site)

For those who find temp-mails annoying, what you can do is setup a gmail or alternatively any email service with a fake name. There are some downsides, but it can get the job done. Only signup with it on sites that you don't want having your info. If, for any stupid reason, you use the fake name gmail and decide to purchase something to your address, it can help doxers, hackers, and/or trackers to hunt you down.

A real scenario of getting trackers to hunt you down is me. When I was a minor, I decided to setup a gmail account under the impersonation of a fake name, stupidly enough, I overused the email on many websites which ended up being on numerous database breaches. Fast forward, I made a huge mistake by not emptying my inbox - leading hackers to hacking into my account through a database and gaining my real home address. They verified it was me as some emails include your IP address within their posts. They simply did a simple IP address lookup, and tada! showed my exact country and what town I lived in.

Let this a lesson to be learned and focus heavily on your security and privacy. Do not let anybody get their hands of your personal business. Your activities that you do online is yours and YOURS only. They should never be messed with.

Cheers.

An IP address WHOIS lookup, obviously gets the ISP's Information and not anything personal to the user In question.

The country will be accurate but depending on where the ISP's server(s) Is located, the town/city Is not always correct. In your case, It just happened to be within the vicinity of where you resided. That aside, appreciate the contribution.

You are right, but for speed and convenience, the ISP will mostly reside within your town/city. Like you stated, my ISP happened to be in the town I lived in, and therefore, the hackers verified that I am indeed the person they are targeting. Thanks for explanation.

In OP's defense I would always recommend one single email for a smaller attack surface. As long as you practice strong pass phrase security and storage, keep tabs on your privacy policies and change your password regularly, you shouldn't need to worry about a breach on YOUR end. THEIR end, the server-side or back-end, is what you need to be worried about. Is my password safe in their database? Are they using strong cryptographic hashing methods? Are they negligent with past and present data? Weigh your options. I recommend using email masking provided by Blur, the private email they give you can be used to generate an infinite amount of secure aliases. They can be used individually for each sign-up to track ads and separate your identity, but most of all, it keeps you safe from attackers leveraging your email to find other services you might use. This is known as obfuscating your identity. It's a very basic and simple form of securing your data; therefore you can tell what service sells your data or which gives your email to other parties, and that email won't be connected to your real email. Your reply-to email remains as the masked email. The best part? It's 100% free and anonymous. I believe even th3j3573r used/uses it.

Thanks for the reply. I have never heard of Blur and from your explanation, it seems to be the right email service I am looking for. I haven't came across an email service that provides masking and/or tell us what services are selling my data. I will look into it and consider using it near the future. Thanks!

In the majority of cases, yes.

Mine Is actually In a completely different town (Ping should be less), but I can't complain with my speed:

My upload is really bad though, coming at 10 mbps. This is why I use an RDP to upload files and/or download files online.

To be honest, 10 Mbps Isn't all that bad. You wouldn't believe the speed on my previous plan - "0.5 Mbps". Absolutely terrible to say the least.

On my new plan, It's pretty stable at 42 Mbps, so I can't complain. That's wireless connectivity around 5 meters from the Modem. I've yet to try It via Ethernet, which I assume should be marginally better.
