Haha, awesome! or not... I truly disgust the useless IT guys. At my previous school, I pwned the network 4 times, no one even noticed. I pwned the router of out class room doing a physics class, no reaction. If they new how to trawl logs and encrypt connections, they'd be a hell lot better at their job...
I once visited the IT office, on their blackboard, which everyone could see, they had mapped the whole network. Together with server names, software they ran etc. Guess how hard it was to cause damage after that?

I really love this story, even though I hate most IT guys and can pwn them in my sleep. The one at my last school would sit at the broken computers and fuck around like he didn't know what he was doing. Appearantly he didn't have install and backup disks...

This is great! Reminds me of a time, when I hacked our school website and being the good guy I am, I reported the vuln next day. It was the most basic SQLi you can imagine. A day later, I get invited to headmasters office and I meet the IT guy there. He is an older guy... he stares at me, like I'm the biggest hax0r in the world. I have to explain what SQLi is and how it works over and over. After about an hour of me telling him how dangerous this is and how his server already has been hacked and is being used for illegal purposes he says: well, I'm using a PHP module from the 90's to connect to the database, but nobody pays me to update it. So I'll keep it...
