Anyone have some fun stories relating to RPGs? I can start

So, we were playing an RPG called Edge of the Empire. Its not the greatest RPG, but it still lands a lot of fun moments. A friend of mine is playing as a klatooinian, which looks like this. We were at a bar trying to get info on a member of the Hutt family, called Teemo. The Klatooinian, which for shits and giggles we named "noodles," starts talking to a shady character. The shady character is one of those weird monkey looking aliens. One of these. Noodles says "You sure you ok?" The shady guy says "I can handle myself." Intending to start a fight, Noodles says "yeah, but can you handle me?" My GM gets this look on his face, and says "roll for a hard charisma check." My friend now knew, he truly screwed up. He rolled, dice landed in his favor, and it starts flirting with him. Instead of starting a bar fight, the shady guy turned out to have a thing for klatooinians. Ended up bringing it into the bedroom, which then Noodles used to his advantage to start beating him up in private for information on Teemo. Turned out to not be related to Teemo at all, and was an agent for the rebellion.

I feel like a lot of good RPG moments or stories will often only make sense to those that play the game.

In one game I played before full release, myself, Oni and a friend were exploring the map as far as it had been released in early access. There was a volcano that was closed off to the north, due to be available upon full release. We were looking around and found a massive cave. We thought we would run in and look around, only to be teleported off the known map when crossing the entrance. The main map area is closed off by a ghost wall that kills you if you try to cross it, and you loose all your items on death. Being off the known map meant we'd have to cross that wall/die to get back to the main map.



Turns out, the cave was a part of the volcano and the devs used the tele as a cruel trick to punish players trying to access the volcano early. Harsh.

Aw man, that kinda sucks lol. Devtrolls, even for pen and paper RPGs, are the worst. Which RPG was it?

*edit* did a reverse image search of your map, and found out that you are talking about a video game called Conan Exiles. Might try it out
