Surface Pro vs Macbook and Ipad combo 12-21-2023, 03:38 AM
#1
I just got a new Surface Pro 9 for work because I find some tasks are much easier with a tablet, but I also need access to systems requiring a full OS. My one hesitation was the idea of using a Mac in conjunction with an Ipad, with the assumption that macOS probably works seamlessly enough with ipadOS to make it still function ok (I have never used Apple for anything). Does anyone have experience with the latter combo in this context? In order to join the network I need MS Intune credentials. I know for a fact it doesn't work with Android and 99% positive it doesn't work with ipadOS, but maybe there is some kind of tether/sync feature that I can use on macs to make it less noticeable.

I have a surface pro X and iPad/MacBook combo. The Apple ecosystem is nice and security is top notch but if you’re needing a full OS I’d go with the surface pro (Intel models) MacOS is nice but even sometimes It’s a pain with certain applications even using parallels (m1 processor)
