Good job on the guide. Hopefully newbies will find their way to this thread.

Brilliant guide man. Thanks for posting it. Should help new users out.

While it does lack depth and isn't exactly filling, it does help as a nice "start up" for newer members. While I do hope that you plan on extending this further, if you do not then I will continue on what I had already written down. But please, inform me if you plan on working more on it or not so I can stop working on whatever I was doing in regards to this. That being said, it does work well as a nice "start up".

I believe I stated in OP that I'd constantly be updating that op top of other threads i'd be doing.
Writing this at 1AM isnt exactly a good idea either, but thanks.

You also specified that you would only update it when new features are added, even though this thread hardly covers 50% of whats there right now. Hence my question. You also never mentioned that you'd be doing any other threads. The word "Threads" isn't even in any posts on the first page, again, hence my question.

Credits information is missing, reputation information is missing, and the thing I saw when I actually read this is that you just gave out links.
Why not go in full depth in this thread, if I was a new forum user, I would definitely not want to click on all those links.

I realize the post I'm quoting here Is around 6 months old, but given this thread Is still active as of late, I shall reply.

Whilst I do agree with the majority written here, this thread Is still of benefit to those "completely" new to forums as a whole. Sure It can be significantly Improved, but as a general guidance and stepping stone, I believe It will serve It's benefits.
