Suggestion for reviews tab #1
Apologies if this has been suggested before but denied.
I've been around for a while on other sites and I thought that the review tab (or whatever it was called) on socialengineered.net was a useful tool for a lot of the newbies as well as anyone interested in seing.
It was a section where users would input the site they refunded, amount, method etc and the difficulty as well as any other notes that were relevant.
Saved thread space for questions other than is X still possible, has anyone had any luck with Y recently.

Again, apologies if this has been struck down before, I couldn't find any recommendations for a section like that.

RE: Suggestion for reviews tab #2
Moved from Social Engineering to Suggestions.

This is actually a good suggestion and I imagine that section would fill up pretty quickly. My fear is that it might be the only section used lol, what would the regular SE section consist of? Also who were you on SENET? I was a staff member many years ago, I don't even remember that section tbh.

The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

I was on se net for a while but more so towards its end, I joined just as John took over, I don't remember a lot of names other than Prince and a few other of the Mods.

As for the refund section, looking through the se section a large proportion of it are posts asking for advice on their refund, there would still be that and people would still be free to ask questions.
I do understand that it might reduce the amount of posts in the se section but why is that necessarily a problem? - Removing the lower quality posts in favour of something that's clearer and more usable .
Also clears the section for methods to be posted in, so they can be found more clearly. You don't need to wade through the other threads to find it.
This isn't the definite outcome, there are many others, it might not even be used.
But from experience it was a useful tool.

While I totally understand where this suggestion is coming from, I would be tentative to put anything like this on SL.

Given any thread in the SE section literally has the below written above it:
"The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact."

Yeah I have a feeling it'd make more work for @mothered
I like the idea of the SE section being more divided given that it's literally the most active section on the forums. Again, why it would actually affect the 1 staff member that's active in the section.

Are you implying no one would use it out of security/ anoynomity?
If so just have an option for anoynomus posting/ price ranges as not to have an exact amount/ date ranges.
People arent stupid enough to detail every refund with the exact amounts on the exact dates.
Could that work? Unless I've misunderstood what point you were making.

So, we'd be encouraging the exact opposite behaviour to what we recommend people do.
